INTERNET EXPLORER USERS: Microsoft announced in August that they are shutting down Internet Explorer and it will be fully deactivated by 8/17/2021. Microsoft recommends all Internet Explorer users change to the Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome browser in order to avoid having issues accessing various websites.
Retirement Benefits
Tier 1 - 2.5% @ 55 formula for employees hired before November 1, 2012 (Employee pays 8%)
Tier 2 - 2.0% @ 60 formula for CalPERS "Classic" members hired after November 1, 2012 (Employee pays 7%)
Tier 3 - 2.0% @ 62 formula for new CalPERS members (Employee pays 6.25%)
The City does not participate in Social Security.

Vacation
80 hours of vacation per year (plus 8 hours for each additional year of service up to a maximum of 160 hours per year).
Administrative Leave
40 hours (specific management positions) or 80 hours (Directors) administrative leave per year.
