Join the Bureau of Land Management and Friends of the Desert Mountains for Bat Week's "Be a Bat Hero", Super Hero Bat Walk in the La Quinta Cove. Feel free to come out dressed up in your favorite superhero costume as we walk around the Cove identifying local bats and talk about all their cool superpowers that no other animals possess. There will be prizes for best superhero costumes. The walk is an easy 2-mile walk Participants need to bring a flashlight to this event as we will be walking around after the sun goes down.
