FIND is the regional food bank serving eastern Riverside and southern San Bernardino Counties in southern California. They are one of the 200 Feeding America network food banks in the United States. They are also the regional emergency disaster response food bank recognized by the state and county as the first line of defense against hunger. FIND helps feed an average of 150,000 people each month through their network of 150 distribution sites, which includes FIND’s Community Mobile Markets, and over 80 community-based partners.

Food Programs

The La Quinta Wellness Center is a resource for food distribution and general information. In partnership with FIND Food Bank, the City participates in bi-weekly food distribution (food bag/box for each household) to many of our affordable housing properties including:

• Coral Mountain Apartments

• Hadley Villas

• Vista Dunes

• Washington Street Apartments

• Wolff Waters Place Apartments

Food Distribution Sites 

In collaboration with the City, FIND Food Bank continues to distribute food at the following locations and days:

La Quinta Library Parking Lot, 78-275 Calle Tampico, La Quinta CA, 92253

• 1^st Friday of the month, from 8 - 9 a.m. Seniors age 65+ only (proof of age required).

• 4th Saturday of the month from from 8 -9 a.m. General Public. 

Horizon High School, 43330 Palm Royale Dr., La Quinta, CA 92253

• 1^st Wednesday of every month, from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. All ages welcome.
