The Greater Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the City of La Quinta, invites you to the La Quinta State of the City, Business Awards, and Expo. The event will be held on Thursday, October 6th, beginning with registration, business expo, and food service from 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm, the State of the City presentation from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm, and live band and fireworks from 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm. The event will be held at the La Quinta Resort & Club located at 49-499 Eisenhower Dr. in La Quinta. This annual event offers a review of economic activity from the previous year, as well as future development and plans significant to the business community.

The Mayor and Council will be the featured speakers for this event.

In addition to a city update, local business professionals will be recognized for professional accomplishments and significant contributions to their community. Among the categories honored will be Business of the Year. Attendees will experience a Taste of La Quinta, featuring five unique food stations by the chefs of the resort.

The outdoor evening event will have live music by The Refills and fireworks by Garden State Fireworks as a grand finale and celebration of the City of La Quinta’s 40th Anniversary.

6:01 pm – 6:39 pm: Chamber welcome/Thank you Sponsors/Chamber Business Awards

6:40 pm – 7:30 pm: Mayor and Council presentation (Open to the Public)

7:30 pm – 8:30 pm: Fireworks by Garden State Fireworks & live music by The Refills (Open to the Public)

Parking will be available at La Quinta Country Club (across the street at 77-750 Avenue 50) with shuttle service to and from La Quinta Resort & Club. Please allow for extra time.
