Please join us on Thursday, April 25, for a presentation and discussion of La Quinta’s new Strategic Plan. We will hold two one-hour sessions at 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. in the Study Session room at City Hall.
A Strategic Plan is a working, flexible document that the City will use to track projects and monitor allocated funds and expenditures. It is a flexible document that can be updated regularly as goals are achieved.
We want to hear from our residents: What are your thoughts on our draft plan to date? Are there any goals or focus points we are missing that should be included?
A draft Strategic Plan will soon be presented to our different boards, commissions and City Council with the Council adopting a final plan later this year.
The City has outlined 12 Focus Points that align with our Sacred Values. Some of these can be accomplished in a few years, while others are long-term projects.
We hope to see you there to discuss how to keep our Gem of the Desert shining bright.
