Join us for a special event, celebrating the grand opening of our newest exhibit, "Riding the Rails." Items on display include a 48 square foot model train layout, Southern Pacific china, railroad lanterns and a model of the Indio train depot destroyed by a fire in the 1960's. Corey Wylde from the Orange Empire Railway Museum will be giving a short presentation and answering questions about California's extensive railroad history. Come check out the new exhibit and find out why the railway system is called the "Octopus of the Desert."
