Formerly known as the Bob Hope Clasic, the Humana Challenge strikes up a historic partnership between Humana Inc., the William J. Clinton Foundation, PGA TOUR, and Desert Classic Charities.  The event will "challenge" players, celebrities, spectators and the general public to improve their health by making positive changes in diet, exercise an lifestyle.

The tournament will be played on three spectacular La Quinta golf courses: Palmer Private at PGA West (host course), Nicklaus Private at PGA WEST, and La Quinta Country Club.  Two new tournament week pro-am events have been added this year with the Bob Hope Legacy Pro-Am on Monday, January 16 and the Couples Challenge Pro-Am on Wednesday, January 18.
