Certified Farmers Market at Old Town La Quinta

Ready to get fresh? Visit the Certified Farmers' Market along Main Street Sundays from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., October to May, for the freshest produce, herbs, honey, nuts, cheese, cut flowers & plants, fresh baked breads from L'Artisan Bakery, live chef demonstrations and live music to feed your soul.

You'll find beautiful Certified Organic produce from Sage Mountain Farms, Jaime Farms, Rancho Arco Iris, and Morningstar Ranch. Also featured are organic apples from Ha's Apple Farm; local citrus, avocados and more from Farquhar, Mondragon and Bautista Creek Farms as well as a variety of fine quality meats from MF Ranch and Da-Le Ranch, which offers USDA inspected pork, lamb, rabbit, chicken and beef; enjoy fresh and dried herbs and plant starts from Herbivore Farm in Sky Valley; and Ronin Sharpening, specializing in sharpening kitchen knives for the home chef as well as the professional chef. Restore your knives to original condition.

In addition, we have value added vendors who are passionate about using farm produce to create quality offerings: farm lavender products, farm infused popsicles “made with love,” superb organic salsas and sauces, farm smoothies, fresh squeezed OJ, guacamole, fine olive oil, avocado oils and lotions, organic nuts, sauerkraut and more. Plan to linger as you sate all your senses.

Shop on-trend boutiques throughout Old Town, where chic style makes a statement of its own. Stop to enjoy a coffee or cappuccino with friends, a delicious brunch outside in the autumn air or a freshly prepared lunch inside your favorite restaurant. Get a mani or a pedi. Then remind yourself to slow down and be present.

Free admission and parking. For more information on the Certified Farmers' Market, go to www.certifiedfarmersmarket.org. Sponsored by The Palm Springs Cultural Center.
