Desert Youth Olympics

Grab those sneakers and join in on the fun at the 3rd Annual Desert Youth Olympics. Children ages 3 to 8 will have the opportunity to compete in the 20 yard dash, javelin throw, hurdles, and more. Bring your friends and make sure your parents have those cameras ready. This event will emphasize sportsmanship, fair play, and participation. Participants will receive a certificate and medals will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishes.
Age groups 3-4, 5-6, 7-8 (Boys and Girls Divisions)
Date: Saturday, March 22, 2014
Time: 8 am (registration/check-in begins)
9 am (events begin)
Cost: Pre-registration - $8 (includes t-shirt)
Day of event - $10
Location: Colonel Mitchell Paige Middle School Field
(Corner of Washington Street and Palm Royale)
Attire: Comfortable athletic clothing
