SPECIAL NOTICE – Telephonic Accessibility: 

Pursuant to Paragraph 11 of Executive Order N-25-20, executed by the Governor of California on March 12, 2020
as a response to mitigating the spread of corona virus known as COVID-19,
this regular meeting of the La Quinta City Council will allow members of the public
to attend and address the City Council during the open session of the meeting telephonically
.

 Members of the public wanting to address the City Council, either during public comment or for a specific agenda item,

or both, are requested to send an email notification no later than 3:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting
to the La Quinta City Clerk’s Office at CityClerkMail@LaQuintaCA.gov.

 The email notification must specify the following information:
1) Full Name; 2) City of Residence; 3) Phone Number; 4) Public Comment or Agenda Item No; 5) Subject; 6) Written or Oral Comments 

The City will facilitate the ability for a member of the public to be audible to the City Council and general public
in the Council Chambers for the item(s) by contacting him/her via phone and queuing him/her to speak during the discussion.

Only one person at a time may speak by telephone and only after being recognized by the Mayor.

 Please be mindful that the teleconference will be recorded as any other person is recorded when appearing before the City Council,
and all other rules of procedure and decorum will apply when addressing the City Council by teleconference.
Finally, it is requested that any member of the public attending while on the teleconference to have
his/her/their phone set on “mute” to eliminate background noise or other interference from telephonic participation.
