Designed by Ray Lopez, the monuments consist of the City of La Quinta sign with a city logo.  The area is decorated with palm trees and a rock fountain water feature. The two monuments are located on Highway 111 at Jefferson Street and West of Washington Street.  Pieces were installed in August, 2000.
