Your home may be used as an office for your business--providing it meets specific conditions and is issued a Home Occupation Permit and a City Business License. Home businesses cannot have employees going to and from the residence, generate customer traffic, noise or have material stored on the property in public view. A Code Compliance Officer will physically inspect your property prior to approving a home occupation permit and your application for a business license.
