Information Technology
The Information Technology (IT) section of the City Manager's Office ensures all City Staff have the IT capabilities to perform their duties across the City, and via telework, to continue providing outstanding services and products for the City and its residents.
The IT section maintains the City's IT budget and procures all necessary technology such as computers, tablets, phones, peripheral devices, and software licenses. The City contracts with Visual Edge IT for IT services.
SB 272 Enterprise Systems Software
Approved in October 2015, Senate Bill 272 (SB 272) adds a section to the California Public Records Act requiring local agencies to create a catalog of Enterprise Systems by July 1, 2016 with annual updates.
