Efficient Washing Machines
CVWD is offering a rebate for all residential customers who install a new efficient washing machine (list available at www.energystar.gov). Residential property must be within CVWD’s service area. CVWD will offer a maximum of $150 rebate per installed washing machine. Washing machine must be Energy Star certified with an Integrated Water Factor of 4.5 or less. Customer is responsible for providing a completed application, color photo of the installed washing machine, and sales receipt. CVWD will reimburse the customer after all program conditions have been met. Rebates are available on a first come, first-served basis.

High-Efficiency Toilets
CVWD will offer a rebate of up to $100 per toilet and $10 for the recycling fee to eligible homeowners on a first-come, first-served basis. Customers must recycle their old toilets, provide the recycling receipt as proof, and provide the new toilet receipt as proof of purchase. New toilets must use 1.28 gallons per flush or less.
Old toilets are recycled at customer expense. Desert Recycling in Thousand Palms provides this service locally and can be reached at (760) 343-0095. The recycle charge is $10 per toilet.

Turf Conversion Program
CVWD is offering residential turf conversion rebates of $3 per square foot, up to a maximum of 10,000 square feet per project area. Applications for this program should be made through the CVWD online portal and will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. This program requires pre-approval. If you begin or complete your project before applying and receiving pre-approval, your project is not eligible for a rebate.

Energy Star Product Rebates
Cash rebates are available on the purchase of select energy star products, including refrigerators, dishwashers, windows, pool pumps, furnaces, water heaters, and room air conditioners.

Smart Irrigation Controllers
CVWD has rebates available for the installation of Smart Irrigation Controllers. Coachella Valley homeowners who do not manually adjust their irrigation controllers and switch to a self-adjusting system can expect to cut their water usage by an average of 30 percent.
