SolarAPP+ (Solar Automated Permit Processing Plus) is an online platform that helps local governments process permits for residential solar and solar-plus-storage systems. The platform automates the permitting review process to ensure that proposed systems meet code requirements and allows properly licensed contractors to receive a real time approval. Recent state law requires most cities and counties in California to adopt a system to streamline the permitting of these projects.

Residential solar companies are provided system approval immediately after completing the SolarAPP+ process and can then use their approval to receive a building permit instantly through our Hub Online Portal by Applying for the Solar - SolarAPP+ Permit.
